Allison is the Clinical Director of Brazosport Rehabilitation and Wellness, LLC. She holds a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston and completed post graduate classes from UTMB in pediatrics. Allison is a certified Graston and RockTape provider and enjoys incorporating these techniques as part of her treatment plans. Allison has practiced physical therapy for over 25 years with experience in pediatric and adult rehabilitation. Her expertise and areas of interest include early intervention, orthopedic and sports injuries, as well as aquatic therapy and neurological conditions.
Dr. Darrian Mezulic is a Physical Therapist at Brazosport Rehabilitation & Wellness, LLC. She holds a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from UT Health in San Antonio. Darrian's expertise and areas of interest include working with patients with neurological diseases and injuries (Stroke, Brain Injury, SCI, Parkinson's, etc.). Darrian also works as a dance teacher at a local studio and enjoys helping dancers prevent and recover from injuries.
Cole is a Physical Therapist Assistant who obtained his Associates of Applied Science from San Jacinto College in 2013. He joined BRW in 2023 and has previous experience in the inpatient rehab department in the hospital setting where he was able to utilize his learned skills with a wide range of patients ranging from children to geriatric patients.
Kylie began working at BRW in 2016 as a physical therapy technician. Once she completed the PTA program at Wharton County Junior College in 2019 she began working at BRW full-time. Kylie is a RockTape certified provider. She enjoys many aspects of her job including engaging with patients beyond their level of injury. She is most passionate about incorporating physical activity in her daily routine and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Dusti attended the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Orange County Community College in Middletown, NY. Dusti has almost 35 years of experience working in inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing and home health settings. She originally worked at BRW from 2008 to 2011 and has returned in 2021. Dusti has most of her experience with geriatric in the skilled nursing environment. She has also been a rehab director for over 13 yrs. She enjoys working with all ages to help them reach their highest potential and independence. She is always working to make therapy more relaxing and enjoyable so that patients are more willing to push themselves in their road to recovery.
Cynthia a Physical Therapist Assistant who has been with BRW since 2023. She is originally from Muskogee, Oklahoma and has a background with the Cherokee clan. Cindy enjoys working with geriatric patients and has experience with acute care in the hospital setting along with skilled nursing facilities. When away from work, Cindy enjoys gardening and spending time with her dog.
Katie graduated from Texas A&M in May 2022 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, Dance Science. She began working as a tech here at BRW shortly after graduation. When she’s not working as a tech, she is teaching at Barbie Rhodes Dance Studio, where she has been a dancer since 2004. Katie would like to continue to use her love for dance combined with helping others to pursue a graduate level degree someday.
Kristin is a recent graduate from Texas Tech University. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. Before she came to BRW in 2022, she worked solely as a Physical Therapist Technician at an Aquatic facility in Houston. Kristin enjoys utilizing her aquatic background to work with our aquatic patients. Kristin has a special interest in pursuing pediatric therapy in the future.
Julie holds a Master’s of Science Degree from Texas Christian University in Speech Pathology. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Certified in Clinical Competence by the American Speech & Hearing Association. Julie has over 30 years experience working with various populations. Adult patients have been seen in all areas of rehabilitation: acute, sub acute, and outpatient facilities, as well as home health settings. She also has extensive pediatric experience for preschool and school age children in private practice facilities. Julie is also a Certified Vital Stim provider for swallowing disorders. When she’s not at BRW she works at Texas Children’s Hospital and Memorial Hermann Hospital system.
Samantha received her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas A&M Kingsville in 2020. She is licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the state of Texas and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association. Samantha joined BRW in 2023. Since graduation, Samantha has been working with the pediatric population in the school and outpatient clinical settings providing individualized approaches to therapy targeting language, articulation, fluency and augmentative and alternative communication needs. She is passionate about providing new and creative therapy approaches to her patients.
Vannysa received her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas in 2016. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and also holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency through the American Speech and Hearing Association. Vannysa is bilingual and joined BRW in 2023. She has worked with the pediatric population throughout her career. She is passionate about bilingual language acquisition as well as early language development.
Dawn holds a Master’s of Arts degree from The University of Texas Pan American in Speech Pathology. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and maintains certification through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Dawn has over 25 years of clinical experience in both educational and outpatient settings. She has provided assessment and therapeutic intervention to a variety of children, primarily ages 2-21, with speech and language disorders including autism, language and learning differences, articulation impairments, augmentative communication, functional communication, and pragmatic language. Dawn is passionate about giving children a way to communicate.
Morgan received her Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Stephen F. Austin State University. She began working for BRW in January of 2021. Morgan grew up in Lake Jackson and graduated from Brazoswood High School in 2016. She enjoys working with the pediatric population and has a passion for giving children a way to communicate and express themselves.
Stacey holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston. Stacey has over 20 years of experience working with a variety of diagnosis in both educational and outpatient settings. She has a special interest in working with children not only with articulation and language disorders, but other disabilities as well.
Mindy received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston in 2017. She is licensed as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant through the state of Texas. Mindy joined BRW in 2023 and has experience working with preschool and elementary age children in the educational setting.
